Field Merchandiser, more about the Role

We’re looking for a Field Merchandiser to cover the North of England.

This is an exciting opportunity for somebody that’s upbeat and self-motivated to join our team and drive Sales and Product Availability through the development of positive relationships with ethnic food stores.

You will work 40 Hours-, five out of seven days a week; (between Sunday and Friday), representing our brand, visiting new and existing stores to sell our products and merchandise their retail counters.

What you can expect to be doing:

  • Visiting new- and existing Stores as per Daily Round Sheets
  • Performing Deliveries of Goods to our existing Customers
  • Merchandising Retail Displays with a view to maximising product Sales
  • Maximising Brand Availability, canvassing new Stores/Outlets as part of your Rounds
  • Loading/unloading Vehicles safely and efficiently, at the start and end of each Round
  • Invoicing Goods Delivered with attention to Food Safety and Traceability
  • Completing traceability and distribution control records, accuratelyA few things we’re expecting from you:
  • Have the right to work in the UK and a UK bank account, as well as a full UK driving license.
  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or Level 4 (or equivalent).
  • Ability to communicate in Gujarati, Urdu and/or Hindi, Punjabi or other South Asian languages are advantageous but not essential.
  • Has a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be helpful and friendly and able to put the customers’ needs at the centre of everything they do on behalf of the business.
  • To be able to work as part of a team but also on their own initiative
  • Works as part of a wider team sharing ideas and good practice to drive business success.
  • Adopts a ‘can do’ attitude to challenging situations.
