Fazila Foods Nominated for TWO EMBF Awards
The Ethnic Minority Business Forum Northwest (EMBF NW) has announced this years shortlist for this year's Northwest Ethnic Minority Business Awards.
This year’s event, set up by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA), is the second year the awards have taken place, celebrating, recognising and rewarding the contribution that BME individuals and businesses make to the regional economy in the Northwest.
It aims to inspire and encourage more members of the BME community in the region to start-up or expand their businesses in the Northwest. The evening awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 12th March 2009 at Manchester United’s, Old Trafford Football Club.
The 2009 event will be a unique interactive experience with guests able to select winners from a shortlist of nominations, via an interactive audience polling system available on the night.
Steven Broomhead, Chief Executive of the NWDA, said: “The 2009 Awards will recognise the very best of the region’s BME business community and celebrate the cultural diversity of England’s Northwest.
"The NWDA works hard to remove the barriers to economic participation for everyone, ensuring the Northwest economy can grow to its full potential. We hope these awards will spark the imagination of budding entrepreneurs and encourage others to set up or expand businesses in the region.”
